Hey there! I'm Sophie: A 16 year old tea-drinking, homework procrastinating, tv watching, word loving, wannabe actress from Canada. Nerdfighter, Sherlockian, Whovian, Potterfan and book lover extraordinaire. Welcome to my blog... I hope you have a fantastic day :D
"I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (“I’m not a big one for paying compliments…”), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter, a bit more Gene Kelly dancing in the rain."
i love it when people say things like ‘i can’t draw to save my life’ because it makes me think of someone holding them at gunpoint saying ‘ALRIGHT HERES A PENCIL I WANNA SEE SPONGEBOB IN 45 SECONDS OR UR GONE’
yes and i would fucking die do u know how hard spongebob is to draw melanie
do you ever get theatre crushes where you don’t necessarily fancy the person but you just fall in love with their performances and their singing and their stage presence and character interpretation and you could go on about how amazing they are for hours and hours and you know you’re gushing but you don’t care because they’re just so amazing at what they do
